The Energies of June – 2017

Given how the first months of this year have gone, it is lovely to read of a month where stepping back into flow will be a process of gentle trust (rather than a few where I’ve been tossed back into quite the swirling choppy river currents). No, a gentle re-entry to the river and to trust the currents will be lovely.

Hello, Lovelies :)

Suddenly, here we are at June. June is a gentle month of revitalisation, redirection and emotional and physical nourishment. I’m so up for that. How about you?

Cards for the Month:

I’ve chosen two cards for June for you: one from the Osho Zen Tarot Deck, and one from Colette Baron-Reid’s Wisdom of the Oracle. Please note I don’t use these cards in the conventional way, but rather as a stimulus for channelled information.

Here is what I have received from each card:

The final blog in this Chakra Journal Challenge series by Cauldrons and Cupcakes. The Tibetan singing bowl sound meditation is a beautiful way to integrate all the chakras into a sense of wholeness.

Chakra Journal Challenge – Week 8

The final in the chakra challenge is the crown chakra (just above the top of your head). It is one that I feel gets a little neglected because it’s so the one so easily overlooked and yet, is one that allows the connections to flow so well. A beautiful sound meditation that resonates through all the levels of our bodies. A wonderful ending to a great set of challenges and discovery. Thank you Nicole.

Hello, and welcome to the final week of our Chakra Journal Challenge!

(Sorry for the slight delay between postings. I’ve been in hospital – but that’s a whole other post.)

If you’re only just joining us please go back and read my Orientation Post first.

About the Crown Chakra

The Crown Chakra is found at the top of our head, and it is the colour white. This is the place where our mind and brain connect in with our entire body, systems and organs. It is a communication hub for the physical body, governing not just our thoughts and our emotions but our hormones, our physical reactions, our metabolism, our nervous system. The Crown Chakra is a doorway to higher awareness and profound…

The Energies of May – 2017

The year has been a bit bumpier than I would have thought. This is a lovely space to be heading into.

Hello, Lovelies :)

Breathe a sigh of relief. May is here with her gentle heart-nurturing energies, after the upheavals, revelations and hard work of April.

We’ve identified or faced the difficult stuff, and now that we know where we stand the only way for us to move is forward. Of course May also reminds us that we might need a cup of tea and a nap first – and that’s perfectly okay!

Cards for the Month:

I’ve chosen two cards for May for you: one from the Osho Zen Tarot Deck, and one from Colette Baron-Reid’s Wisdom of the Oracle. Please note I don’t use these cards in the conventional way, but rather as a stimulus for channelled information.

Hello, and welcome to Week Seven of our Chakra Journal Challenge!

Every Tuesday in March and April I will post a Journal Challenge for you, based upon a journey through the main chakras. You don’t need to know anything about journalling, chakras, crystals, oracle cards or energy work. I’ll explain everything that you need to do each week. Then you’ll have a week to complete the simple activities I share.

Chakra Journal Challenge – Week 6 – Throat Chakra

This week is the throat chakra and a slightly different way to achieve connection. Using bee breath or “Bhramari”. I can remember doing this yoga technique years ago and it always made me dizzy. Looking forward to seeing how well I can do it nowadays. Enjoy!

“Living with integrity means: Not settling for less than what you know you deserve in your relationships. Asking for what you want and need from others. Speaking your truth, even though it might create conflict or tension. Behaving in ways that are in harmony with your personal values. Making choices based on what you believe, and not what others believe.”

There are no accidents that a week off and the resumption of this challenge, with the heart chakra no less, arrives on the full moon. A full moon which is also focusing on love and relationships with others but also self.
